Better than New Band Repair

Store Policies

Returns

Most items may be returned within 30 days if unopened (see non-returnable policy.)  We will process your return while you wait if you bring it back yourself. If we are picking up a return from a school with whom we work, we will process your return as soon as it is received. We will mail a refund check for cash or check purchases. Contact us to arrange a return (see non-returnable policy).

Exchanges

Most items may be exchanged within 30 days of purchase if unopened (see non-returnable policy). We will process your exchange as soon as we receive your return. We can do it while you wait if you bring it back yourself. If we are delivering to a school with whom we work, the exchanged item will be delivered on the set delivery day for the school and will be left with the band instructor if the returned item is at hand. Differences in price will be handled when you contact us to arrange the exchange.

What items are non-returnable?

Opened items are non-returnable. We only accept returns made within the first 30 days from purchase with a receipt. New in-stock items are returnable for a full refund only if defective OR unopened. Special order items returned unopened will be assessed a 25% restocking fee.  All used instruments and used accessories are sold "As-Is" and are non-returnable.

How do I return my rental instrument?

Bring your instrument with the mouthpiece and case to the shop. We will have you fill out the rental return paperwork and do the return via the online rental portal while you wait. It should take about 15 minutes, we hand you a receipt, and that’s it!

Do you have the accessories my school wants?

Most of the school band directors have given us their supply lists. We try to keep all the accessories on the list available or we can special order items. Check our School Supply lists for your school. If you don’t see it, please let us know and we will try to get your list from your band director.

What steps are you taking to protect against COVID-19?

Following the CDC guidelines and local, state, and federal mandates, we have created Covid-19 Health & Safety Policies that address the health and safety of both our employees and our customers. We have expanded our workspace areas, set up flexible work schedules, and continue to implement actions regarding personal protective equipment, environmental sanitizing, instrument quarantining, and customer interaction as current circumstances and guidelines dictate.

Because we are a small shop, we may limit the number of customers in our shop for better social distancing. We still offer the same quality repair services at the same reasonable rates. Give us a call, contact us from our website, or check out our Instagram and Facebook pages for appointments and COVID-19 updates.
